Adults with Disabilities Program offers an array of courses such as: Supported Living Skills, Personal Health, Adaptive Computers, Functional Math, Functional Literacy, Service Occupations Work Skills, Leisure Time/Adaptive Arts and Crafts, Independent Living Skills, and Physical Fitness. This program offers students with disabilities the opportunity to explore the arts, to understand the relationships between exercise, nutrition, and fitness, and to further develop, maintain, and enhance cognitive and fine motor skills. It provides a safe environment for the development of inter-personal and social skills as well as the means to pursue vocational interests. Through extensive outreach, G-CCAS has developed a strong partnership with numerous community agencies, county clinics, day care centers, sheltered workshops and vocational training centers, where courses are offered to the developmentally disabled, physically disabled, and/or mentally disabled adult students.
